Norexport
Norexport - Andean Community - FOMIN-ICONTEC
Norexport Program, an alliance between the Inter-American Development
Bank, the Multilateral Investment Fund FOMIN, and the Colombian
Institute of Technical Standards and Certification ICONTEC.
Its main objective in to improve SME competitiveness,
by means of their participation in sectorial, national and regional
standardization processes, in order to facilitate the exchange
of goods and services, and the process of integration in a regional,
hemispherical and global context.
The aim is to develop a pilot experience or model to support the
technical standardization that proves its strategic relevance
in making business easier, and therefore sustainable, to both
the public and private sector.
Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela are the five nations
that make up the alliance.

Management platform, and data and documentation base, targeted
to make Andean Standards relevant.
