FUNDES (www.fundes.org) is a business solutions network that helps to improve the competitiveness and the business environment of SMEs (small and medium sized companies). It is present in more than eleven countries in Latin America and has a network of over 80,000 SMEs. It was founded in Panama in 1984 by the entrepreneur Stephan Schmidheiny and the Archbishop Marcus MacGrath. The provides FUNDES with a great variety of services in the most diverse areas. Among these you have the Knowledge Management platform FUNDESnet, the maintenance of the virtual structure of all their regional offices and assistance in all of the technology development projects that they undertake in different countries.

Our daily tasks with FUNDES are comprised of supporting, updating and maintaining their Internet presence including the biggest business portal for SMEs in Latin America, MIPYME.com. We also assure the institutional presentation of www.fundes.org, their institutional network (intranet) magazine and the bulletins and digital invitations sent to the clients of each local FUNDES office.

FUNDES also makes use of our communication services and we are currently in the process of preparing the 20 year memoir of FUNDES and their history of promoting Latin American SMEs. Furthermore FUNDES uses our online marketing tools, as in the example of the platform for digital invitations.
